Compañía Minera Dayton SCM operated the Andacollo Oro gold deposit in 1995, located in Andacollo, 56 kilometres southeast of La Serena, in the Coquimbo Region, Chile.

The company exploited at least three gold deposits: Toro, Tres Perlas and Churrumata. 

• PMC analyzed the feasibility of reopening operations with the exploitation of the last phase of the mine, extracting ore from lower banks.
• To sustain the operation’s financing, it was evaluated to continue with a second stage of cyanidation of the accumulated debris that still contains gold content.
• The plant had in operation solutions purification facilities using Activated Carbon and Merrill-Cronwe precipitation.
